ITS 2009 SMART Table Application Design Contest

Attention interactive tabletop developers! Would you like to win an interactive surface table? Enter SMART's Tabletop Multitouch Innovation Contest and you could win your own SMART Table along with the bragging rights of being an interactive tabletop surface development guru.

The goal of the contest is to invent a new multitouch application that creates learning experiences for children, ages 5 to 10. All ideas are welcome, whether useful or fun.

The video (above) of the SMART Table in action shows how kids get excited about learning when they are using an interactive tabletop surface. The children are waiting for your application. Unleash your creativity and help them learn new concepts.

Contestants will demo their creations at the 2009 Interactive Tabletops and Surfaces Conference in Banff, AB. Demos will be judged by three experts in the areas of creativity, educational value, and technical excellence. The winner will be announced at the closing session of the conference.
